Compatible with Defender 90, 110, and 130 models as well as Discovery 2 vehicles equipped with TD5 engines and manual gearboxes, this conversion kit offers improved reliability for demanding driving conditions.

Original equipment dual mass flywheels feature a two-piece design with controlled flex between the crankshaft-mounted section and the clutch engagement surface. This design reduces engine vibration and provides smooth clutch engagement under normal driving. However, aggressive off-road use with larger tyres or modified engines can lead to premature failure, typically accompanied by excessive vibration, rattling noises, and clutch slip.

A solid flywheel conversion provides enhanced durability and is the preferred solution for off-road driving and towing applications. This upgrade delivers superior reliability compared to the dual mass design in challenging conditions. For optimal performance, pairing this conversion with a heavy-duty clutch kit is strongly advised, as the increased shock load from solid flywheel engagement requires the enhanced capacity of a performance-rated clutch.

=====

Fits Defender 90 | Defender 110 | Defender 130 | Discovery 2

Usually ships in 1-2 weeks

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0783/9268/8923/files/TF2357HDG_97c3c933-fe55-40ae-99b8-f07d7e83dee4.jpg?v=1790958267
