The factory dual mass design uses two sections with controlled flex between the crankshaft-mounted portion and the clutch engagement surface, designed to reduce vibration and smooth clutch engagement. While typically replaced alongside regular clutch maintenance, aggressive off-road use, larger tyres, or engine modifications can accelerate wear on both components. Common failure indicators include persistent vibration, loud rattling, and clutch slip. Upgrading to a solid flywheel eliminates these issues cost-effectively and proves significantly more reliable for off-road driving and towing applications. For optimal results, pairing this conversion with a heavy-duty clutch kit is strongly advised to handle the increased impact loads that occur during clutch engagement.

=====

Fits Defender 90 | Defender 110 | Defender 130 | Discovery 2

Usually ships in 1-2 weeks

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0783/9268/8923/files/TF2357HD_c141ba30-23f4-4656-8913-60332a6dd8d6.jpg?v=1790958267
