All P38 Range Rovers produced from 1995 through 2002 came equipped with air suspension, which was considered cutting-edge technology and delivered superior comfort along with automatic self-leveling capabilities during loaded conditions and towing. The P38 has proven its durability over the years and maintains a dedicated owner community committed to maintaining these vehicles in excellent working order. Repairing complex air suspension systems can prove prohibitively expensive, but the Terrafirma Air to Coil conversion kit provides a comprehensive solution addressing all potential costs at once. The coil springs supplied have been engineered to preserve the original ride height and load-carrying performance of the standard air suspension setup. An optional HD variant is also available, featuring a 1" suspension lift and enhanced load capacity for heavier demands. This conversion kit comes complete with installation documentation, all components needed to disable the air system electronics, resolve associated warning lights on the dashboard, and all fasteners required for the air-to-coil conversion. For optimal performance, fitting new Terrafirma shock absorbers is strongly recommended, and bundled options including shock absorbers are available under separate part numbers for customer convenience.
