The Terrafirma 4 Stage Adjustable Shock for Discovery 2 front suspension delivers over 3" of extended travel with a closed length of 410mm and open length of 665mm. This twin tube design features low pressure nitrogen and oil construction with an 18mm shaft diameter, 35mm piston diameter, and 57mm body diameter. Replacement bush kits are available: ROA100050 for front upper and ROA100040 for front lower. Building on the Pro Sport shock platform, this model incorporates four selectable damping stages—Comfort, Standard, Firm, and Sport—allowing you to fine-tune suspension performance to match your coil spring rate, vehicle weight, and preferred handling characteristics. Simply rotate the adjustment knob on the shock body to switch between settings. Standard provides the same damping as the Pro Sport, Comfort delivers a softer ride quality, while Firm and Sport settings significantly increase stiffness for demanding terrain. The robust twin tube construction prevents oil cavitation through low pressure nitrogen pressurization, eliminating shock fade even under extreme conditions. The large 18mm shaft and 35mm piston ensure durability during hardcore off-road use. Available in standard travel up to +5" (125mm) longer options, these shocks feature premium deep silver paint for corrosion resistance and include a bright red semi-rigid plastic dust shield with embossed logo that protects the double chromed shaft from stone damage. When paired with Terrafirma coil springs, the 4 Stage Adjustable shocks provide a 2" (50mm) lift with corresponding increases in wheel travel, making them ideal for owners seeking versatile performance across multiple driving conditions.
