The Terrafirma 4 Stage Adjustable Shock for Discovery 2 delivers versatile damping control with over 3" of travel. Featuring a robust twin tube construction with low pressure nitrogen/oil design, this rear shock combines a substantial 18mm shaft and 35mm piston within a 57mm body diameter. With an open length of 665mm and closed length of 410mm, it's engineered for demanding off-road conditions while maintaining on-road comfort. This shock stands apart with four distinct damping settings—Comfort, Standard, Firm, and Sport—allowing you to fine-tune performance to match your load, driving style, and road conditions. Simply rotate the adjustment knob to select your preferred setting. The nitrogen pressurization eliminates shock fade by preventing oil cavitation, ensuring consistent performance in any situation. Whether you're carrying extra weekend cargo or commuting with a lighter load, one shock adapts to both scenarios. Built tough with a striking deep silver finish that resists corrosion, the shock includes a bright red semi-rigid plastic dust shield with embossed branding that protects the double chromed shaft from stone damage. Compatible replacement bush kits are available: ROA100050 for both rear upper and lower positions. Available in standard travel through +5" extended options, these shocks pair perfectly with Terrafirma coil springs to deliver a 2" lift with increased wheel travel.
