Terrafirma - 8 Stage Remote Reservoir Shock Absorber - Front - Plus 5" Fitment: Discovery 2 This +5" (125mm) extended 8 Stage Adjustable Remote Reservoir shock features monotubes filled with high pressure nitrogen and oil for superior performance. Engineered specifically for Discovery 2 front suspension, it delivers 5 inches of additional travel compared to standard shocks. The shock measures 705mm when fully extended and 430mm when compressed, with a 20mm shaft, 46mm piston, and 52mm body diameter. The shock utilizes pin mountings at both top and bottom for direct replacement of original front shocks, accommodating the extreme articulation that extra travel provides. The remote reservoir connects via hose routing between TF534 turret sides, positioning the reservoir discreetly under the footwells. Replacement bush kits are available: ROA100050 for front upper and ROA100040 for front lower mounts. Featuring 8 stages of damping adjustment, these shocks adapt to any driving condition—from rock crawling to cross country to fast road driving. The optional TF519 mounting kit enables rear fitment with necessary brackets and hardware. Front suspension turrets can be upgraded with the TF522 +2" Turrets to avoid modification. The rear shocks employ a piggy back reservoir design and are left and right specific for proper positioning.
