The Terrafirma 8 Stage Remote Reservoir Shock Absorber delivers PLUS 2" of additional travel for enhanced suspension performance. With an open length of 610mm and closed length of 380mm, this mono tube high pressure nitrogen/oil design features a 20mm shaft diameter, 46mm piston diameter, and 52mm body diameter. Compatible with Defender 90, Defender 110, Defender 130, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic models, this rear shock incorporates pin mountings at top and bottom for direct replacement capability. The extended length accommodates extreme articulation without requiring conventional eye mounts. Rear installation requires the special TF519 mounting kit, which includes brackets and all necessary fasteners. For front fitment, the TF522 +2" Turrets are recommended to avoid suspension turret modifications. Engineered for serious off-road enthusiasts, the 8 STAGE damping adjuster allows easy tuning across rock crawling, cross-country, and fast road applications. Replacement components are available separately: Bush Kits TFSBK02 (Rear Upper), TFSBK01 (Rear Lower - Early without cups), and TFSBK03 (Rear Lower - Late with cups). Hardware replacements include RYF500210 Inner top washer, RYF500220 Outer top washer, and RYH500510 M12 nyloc retaining nut. Install curved face of washers toward bush.
