Rear shock absorber for Range Rover P38 featuring a twin tube low pressure nitrogen/oil construction. Standard travel with 485mm open length and 305mm closed length. Specifications include 16mm shaft diameter, 35mm piston diameter, and 54mm body diameter. This versatile shock performs reliably across diverse conditions and terrains, whether on highways, construction sites, or off-road trails, whether carrying light or full loads. Engineered to balance value with durability and performance. The twin tube design accommodates a substantial oil capacity for improved cooling and component protection. Low pressure nitrogen pressurizes the oil to prevent foaming and cavitation, eliminating heat accumulation and shock fade. Features fully welded mounting pins and rubber bushes engineered for maximum strength and longevity. Delivers both the rugged capability needed for recreational off-roading and the refined, controlled ride quality expected on paved roads. Protected by a black semi-rigid plastic dust shield with embossed branding, the hard-chromed steel shaft is safeguarded against wear. High-quality deep silver paint finish provides excellent corrosion resistance. An effective direct replacement for worn original shocks, these absorbers also support up to 2" (50mm) of suspension lift when paired with Terrafirma coil springs.
