Engineered for heavy-duty overland expeditions, the Terrafirma Big Bore Shock Absorber delivers exceptional performance for fully laden utility and adventure vehicles. This front shock is purpose-built to withstand the punishment of extreme terrain while maintaining stability and control for top-heavy vehicles across all speeds. Featuring an impressive 76mm body diameter, 50mm piston, and reinforced 20mm double-chromed shaft, the Big Bore design prioritizes strength and durability. The robust construction includes fully welded mounting points and oversized natural rubber bushes sized to fit original vehicle attachment locations. With no dust shield, the shock maximizes body diameter for superior oil capacity—essential for maintaining cool operating temperatures and consistent damping performance under heavy loads. Standard travel configuration: 550mm open length, 340mm closed length. Twin-tube oil construction with 20mm shaft diameter and 50mm piston diameter. Compatible replacement bush kits available: TFSBK01 (Front Upper) and TFSBK01 (Front Lower). Available for Defender 90, Defender 110, Defender 130, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic.
