The Terrafirma Bulkhead Removal Kit enhances comfort for taller occupants in your Defender by eliminating the bulkhead partition, enabling seats to be positioned further back with increased recline capability. Removing the bulkhead also grants improved accessibility to the rear cargo area. This kit features precisely engineered black powder-coated steel components that neatly conceal cut edges at structural termination points while restoring full structural integrity for a factory-quality finish. Note that Defender station wagons manufactured after 2007 are not compatible with this kit. As an alternative option, a bulkhead removal bar can be installed, which completely removes the bulkhead to floor level. A gracefully formed tube then spans from door latch point to door latch point at floor level, re-establishing structural rigidity throughout the body while delivering unrestricted rear access and maximum seating flexibility.
