Two Extreme winch bumper variants are offered for the Discovery 2 to suit the popular Terrafirma A12000, M12.5S, EFS12.5, and TM12000 Twin Motor winches. For those prioritizing improved approach angle without winch capability, a non-winch Extreme front bumper serves as an excellent alternative. High approach angle front bumpers can expose the windscreen washer bottle to interference from larger tires. Terrafirma addresses this by relocating the original washer bottle into the engine compartment with a comprehensive mounting kit and minor modifications. The Terrafirma Extreme rear bumper maximizes rear clearance and protection while retaining the original bumper-mounted rear lights. Both bumpers feature heavy-duty mounting points, integrated recovery points, reinforced bracketry, and a durable satin black powder coat finish, engineered specifically for winching and off-road performance. Maximum off-road clearance requires certain vehicle modifications: the grille and slam panel supports must be adjusted to accommodate a winch, and the rear body corners require trimming to fit the Extreme rear bumper.
