Terrafirma - Foam Air Filter

Terrafirma - Foam Air Filter

Terrafirma Foam Air Filter for Discovery 5 (Equivalent to LR161843, 2 Required) Experience superior engine performance with Terrafirma foam air filters, manufactured by Pipercross—pioneers in foam filtration technology trusted by professional engine builders worldwide. These fully serviceable filters are a direct replacement for your vehicle's original paper element, delivering 30% increased airflow without additional induction noise. Unlike standard paper or cotton filters that lose efficiency as dirt accumulates, Terrafirma's advanced deep foam construction allows air to flow around trapped particles, maintaining performance. Independent MIRA testing confirms that Pipercross foam captures more than twice the dust particles of competing filters while preserving airflow. The specialized polyurethane foam construction provides superior performance and longevity compared to paper alternatives. The triple-layer design progressively filters from coarse to fine, with outer layers capturing larger particles and the inner layer delivering exceptional filtration and engine protection. Once saturated, simply clean the filter using the included cleaning solution and re-oil it—creating a reusable, lifetime filter solution with minimal maintenance. For maximum airflow demands, upgrade to the Pipercross PLUS Panel, featuring an innovative foam and stainless steel frame design that delivers 22.1% more airflow than the standard version. Its 2-layer construction—combining a 5mm 60PPI layer with a 20mm 20PPI layer—offers enhanced dirt retention alongside premium performance.
