Terrafirma - Foam Air Filter - TD4

Terrafirma Foam Air Filter for Defender 90, 110 & 130 (TD4) - PHE500060 Equivalent Experience enhanced engine performance with this fully serviceable foam air filter from Terrafirma, manufactured by Pipercross, pioneers in foam filtration technology. Trusted by leading engine builders worldwide, this direct replacement for your factory paper element delivers 30% increased airflow without raising intake noise levels. Unlike traditional paper or cotton filters that reduce airflow as dirt accumulates, the advanced deep foam construction allows air to flow around trapped particles, maintaining consistent performance. MIRA independent testing confirms that Pipercross foam captures over twice the dust particles compared to alternative filter types while preserving airflow integrity. Constructed from specially formulated polyurethane foam, this filter outlasts and outperforms conventional paper alternatives. The triple-layer design features coarse outer layers that initially capture debris as air enters, while the fine inner layer provides superior filtration and engine protection. When fully saturated, simply clean the filter using the included cleaning solution and re-oil as needed—maintenance is straightforward and economical. For vehicles demanding extreme performance specifications, the optional Pipercross PLUS Panel variant uses a premium 2-layer construction (5mm 60PPI and 20mm 20PPI foam) delivering 22.1% greater airflow, enhanced dirt capacity, and superior high-flow capabilities.
