Pair of Heavy Duty CV Joints designed for extreme off-road conditions where aggressive tires, increased power and diff locks commonly cause standard driveline failures. Modern heavy duty CV joints are essential upgrades for serious 4x4 use. Since standard axles have limited space for larger components, these CV joints achieve superior strength through advanced material specification and heat treatment rather than size increases. Manufactured from SAE4340 alloy steel with high nickel-chromoly-molybdenum content, both shafts and CV joints undergo a specialized 3-stage heat treatment process to deliver exceptional durability while maintaining flexibility. This combination creates substantially stronger half shafts that are gentler on differentials and transfer boxes throughout the drivetrain. The CV joint, always the most vulnerable drivetrain element, is machined from the same tough SAE4340 chromoly material for superior shock load resistance. These Terrafirma CV joints feature a 30mm centre with 23 splines and must be paired with compatible heavy-duty shafts. Covered by a 5-year limited warranty (subject to authorisation), with a maximum recommended tire diameter of 35 inches. Non-ABS specification.
