The Terrafirma Heavy Duty Half Shaft is engineered to withstand the demands of modified vehicles equipped with aggressive tyres, increased horsepower, and axle diff locks that can stress standard driveline components. Constructed from SAE4340 alloy steel with high nickel-chromoly-molybdenum content, these shafts undergo a rigorous 3-stage heat treatment process to deliver both exceptional strength and elasticity. This advanced material specification and processing protects the entire drivetrain, including differentials and transfer box, from excessive strain. The half shaft features 24 splines for compatibility with standard differentials and is available as a left-side rear unit. Compatible with Defender 90 (1994 onwards), Defender 110/130 (2002 onwards), Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic, the Terrafirma shaft serves as a direct replacement for original components and can be upgraded individually or as part of a complete heavy-duty driveline system. Maximum tyre diameter is 35". Covered by a 5-year limited warranty (subject to authorisation).
