Since space constraints within standard axles prevent increasing component size, the solution lies in superior material specification and advanced heat treatment. These half shafts are manufactured from SAE4340 alloy steel, a high-strength nickel-chromoly-molybdenum blend that undergoes a rigorous 3-stage heat treatment process. This combination delivers exceptional strength and elasticity, protecting critical drivetrain components like differentials and transfer boxes from excessive stress. The included CV joints are also machined from the same SAE4340 chromoly material, offering enhanced durability and superior shock load resistance. Raptor CV joints feature a 30mm centre with 23 splines, specifically designed to work with compatible heavy-duty shafts. These direct replacement components enable you to selectively upgrade your driveline or completely overhaul it as needed. All shafts are compatible with 24 spline differentials, CV joints come pre-greased, and the complete package is backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Maximum tire diameter: 35 inches.
