The Terrafirma IID Tool G4 Version is a universal Bluetooth diagnostic device featuring comprehensive diagnostic capabilities and advanced programming functions with VIN locking. This professional tool supports multiple vehicles and includes an integrated iOS/Android app interface. Additional features such as engine tuning and EGR patching are available through separate purchases, with free updates provided. The G4 model (TFIIDBTG4) represents GAP Diagnostic's evolution of the proven G3 TFIIDBT, upgraded to work with the latest on-board diagnostic (OBD) hardware from Land Rover, specifically diagnostics over IP (DoIP) technology. This hardware upgrade enables full communication with all ECUs in newer vehicles, though the G4's OBD connector is not backward compatible with earlier models. The G4 IIDTool supports vehicles from MY 2005 onward, while the G3 model covers vehicles from 2002 to 2016. The IIDPRO system includes both G3 and G4 units combined. Upgrade options from G3 to G4 or to Pro systems are available at www.gap-diagnostic.com. Please note that the Range Rover L322 (2002-09) and Defender L316 (2007-16) are not supported by the G4. Some vehicles may require an optional adapter connector (Part No TFIIDADPT) or OBD cable modification. Discovery 2, Defender TD5, and Freelander 1 models produced before 2002 are not covered.
