Terrafirma - Power Plus Foam Air Filter - TD5

The Terrafirma Power Plus Foam Air Filter (equivalent to ESR4238) is a fully reusable alternative to standard paper air filters, engineered by Pipercross, pioneers in foam filter technology. This direct replacement delivers 30% increased airflow compared to original equipment while maintaining whisper-quiet operation without added induction noise. Manufactured using a proprietary three-layer polyurethane foam construction, the filter transitions from coarse to fine filtration, trapping airborne particles in the outer layers while the inner layer ensures superior engine protection. Unlike conventional paper or cotton filters that lose efficiency as dirt accumulates, Terrafirma's deep foam design allows air to bypass trapped particles, preserving performance. Independent MIRA testing confirms Pipercross foam retains more than double the dust capacity of competing filter types without compromising airflow. When saturated, the filter is easily restored using included cleaning solution and re-oiling—no replacement needed. The PLUS Panel variant features a premium two-layer construction with 5mm 60PPI and 20mm 20PPI foam layers, delivering 22.1% greater airflow than the standard panel along with enhanced dirt retention, ideal for high-performance engine applications. Compatible with Defender 90, Defender 110, Defender 130, and Discovery 2.
