The Terrafirma rear step tow bar is a certified towing accessory with roots dating back to the mid-1990s when it was first produced for Land Rover Defenders shipped to North America. Engineered specifically for NAS Defender 110 models, this rear step securely attaches to the rear cross member and combines functionality with classic styling. Constructed from black powder-coated steel tubing, the unit features an alloy tread plate step, integrated jacking points, and a trailer lighting socket mount plate. Beyond its practical towing capabilities, the rear step adds visual interest to the Defender's traditional flat rear design. The towing bracket placement provides a notable advantage when coupling caravans or trailers, offering improved accessibility compared to configurations where the door-mounted spare wheel would obstruct hitching operations.
