The Terrafirma Receiver Hitch delivers flexible, removable towing solutions designed for Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic vehicles. Since tow bars typically mount low on 4x4s, they risk reducing approach angles and catching during off-road driving. For vehicles with dual-purpose use, complete tow bar removal isn't practical. This receiver hitch solves the problem by positioning a female box section receiver high on the chassis, keeping it protected from obstacles. The design accepts various male attachments—including drop plates, recovery points, and demountable winch cradles—offering virtually unlimited configuration possibilities. Featuring a 2" internal bore, the hitch accommodates standard 2" external square section attachments, secured with a heavy pin and security clip for reliability. The included fitting kit and retaining pin make installation straightforward. The supplied drop plate offers three height adjustment settings, while the recovery point is machined to fit standard bow shackles.
