The Terrafirma Receiver Hitch offers flexible mounting solutions for your Defender 90. Traditional tow bars are positioned low on 4x4s, compromising departure angles and frequently snagging during off-road driving. While removing the tow bar entirely isn't practical for dual-purpose vehicles, this receiver hitch maintains full versatility by mounting a female box section receiver high on the chassis, safely away from obstacles. This design accepts a variety of male attachments—including drop plates, recovery points, and demountable winch cradles—giving you nearly unlimited configuration options. The hitch features a 2" internal bore with precision tolerance to securely grip a 2" external square section attachment, held in place by a heavy-duty pin and security clip. Each kit includes all necessary hardware and the retaining pin. The included drop plate offers three adjustable height positions, while the recovery point is machined to accommodate standard bow shackles. Designed specifically for Defender 90 models from 1998 to 2016.
