The Terrafirma Recovery Point is a versatile removable attachment solution designed to enhance your vehicle's functionality. Standard tow bars are frequently positioned low on 4x4s, compromising departure angles and becoming vulnerable to obstacles during off-road driving. While removing a tow bar isn't practical for dual-purpose vehicles, Terrafirma Receiver Hitches offer a practical alternative by mounting a 'female' box section receiver high on the chassis, away from potential damage. This receiver accommodates various 'male' attachments including drop plates, recovery points, and demountable winch cradles, providing exceptional versatility. The receiver features a 2" internal bore designed to securely hold a 2" external square section attachment, which is retained using a heavy-duty pin and security clip. This Recovery Point attachment is precision-machined to accept a standard bow shackle and is supplied with all necessary fitting hardware and retaining pin. Compatible with Defender 90, Defender 110, Defender 130, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic models.
