Terrafirma - Replacement Silencer Pipe - Stainless Steel - 200TDI

Terrafirma - Replacement Silencer Pipe - 200TDI

Upgrade your Defender 110's exhaust system with this Terrafirma replacement silencer pipe, engineered to eliminate the restrictive factory centre silencer while delivering an enhanced, aggressive exhaust note. Constructed from 1.5mm Grade 409 stainless steel, this component offers exceptional durability that far exceeds the original equipment. Grade 409 ferritic stainless steel is specifically designed for automotive exhaust applications, chosen for its superior bendability and weldability while resisting vibration-induced cracking common in other stainless grades. The material provides excellent resistance to atmospheric and exhaust gas corrosion, though a light surface patina may develop over time—a natural characteristic that actually inhibits deeper corrosion. Grade 409 prioritizes functional performance and longevity over cosmetic appearance, making it the ideal choice for demanding exhaust system requirements.
