Terrafirma - Replacement Silencer Pipe - Stainless Steel - 300TDI

Terrafirma - Replacement Silencer Pipe - 300TDI

Upgrade your Defender 90's exhaust system with this Terrafirma replacement silencer pipe, engineered to eliminate the restrictive factory centre silencer while delivering a distinctive, enhanced exhaust note. Constructed from 1.5mm Grade 409 stainless steel, this component significantly surpasses the durability of OEM exhaust systems. Grade 409 ferritic stainless steel is the preferred choice for automotive exhaust applications, offering superior bendability and weldability compared to other stainless grades, while resisting vibration-induced cracking. This material excels in resisting both atmospheric and exhaust gas corrosion, though light surface patina may develop over time—a natural process that actually protects against deeper corrosion. Ideal for applications prioritizing performance and corrosion resistance over cosmetic polish.
