Terrafirma - Replacement Silencer Pipe - Stainless Steel - TD5 / TD4

Terrafirma - Replacement Silencer Pipe - TD5 / TD4

Terrafirma - Replacement Silencer Pipe - TD5 / TD4 Fitment: Defender 110 Upgrade your exhaust system by replacing the restrictive and fragile centre silencer with this Terrafirma free flowing silencer pipe, delivering an enhanced throaty exhaust note. Constructed from 1.5mm 409 stainless steel, this replacement significantly extends the lifespan beyond the factory exhaust system. Grade 409 stainless steel offers superior bendability and weldability while resisting vibration-induced cracking common in other stainless grades. As a ferritic stainless steel, Grade 409 is purpose-designed for automotive exhaust applications where flexibility and corrosion resistance are prioritized over appearance. The material provides excellent resistance to atmospheric and exhaust gas corrosion, though a light surface patina may develop in standard environments that actually helps protect against further oxidation, making it unsuitable for purely decorative uses. Fits: TD5 models 1998-2007 and TD4 models 2007-2016
