The Terrafirma RTC steering damper delivers superior performance compared to conventional dampers through an elevated damping ratio and integrated coil-over spring that facilitates smooth lock-to-lock movement. This innovative steering damper outperforms standard alternatives, particularly when oversized tyres are installed or low tyre pressures are maintained—conditions where regular dampers falter. Heavy steering feedback and difficult centre return become non-issues with the RTC fitted. Quick directional changes also require considerably less effort. The coil-over spring compresses and extends through the full steering range, substantially decreasing return-to-centre effort while working synergistically with the damper to eliminate shimmy and vibration. The damper features a silver metallic finish with Terrafirma RTC branding and a striking blue coil-over spring. Even with standard tyre sizes, drivers benefit from responsive and effortless steering control. NOTE: TF527 adapter is required to install TF835 on Discovery 1 or Range Rover Classic vehicles. TF498 adapter is required to install TF835 on Discovery 2 vehicles.
